As part of the Notodofilmfest short film series (a famous competition in Spain), the short film “¡Hola, buenas noches – Hello, good night!”(directed by Pau Rodilla and starring Carlos Vera) is gaining enormous public impact and encouraging reflection on its main theme, the precariousness and instability of cyclists and digital platform distributors such as Deliveroo, UberEats and Glovo.

In the short film, in line with the demands of the cyclists’ associations in the sector, such as RidersForRights, the “false collaborative economy” that these platforms, which in reality offer salaries of 400 € for 12 hours, are trying to sell in a form of 21st century slavery, in what is also known academically as the “location” of work and the economy, is denounced.
