The Made in Med Rome event has finished, with a key point in all the discussions: what are the commong challenges and policy priorities for the European and Med region in the next decade?
More than 800 people -policy makers, academics, NGOs and other institutions…- have been sharing opinnions and analysis about it. Do we need to invest more money and time in the so called “blue economy”? How important and what is going to be the negative effect of climate change and environmental problems in the future of the region.
There have been giving speeches experts such as Mr. Ioanis K. Chatjigergiou (National Technical University of Athens), Mr. Lisandro Benedetti-Cecchi (University of Pisa), Mr. Zeljka Skaric or Ms. Beatrice Covassi (Head of the European Union Representation in Italy), Patrizio Bianchi (Regione Emilia-Romagna) and other experts. Congratulations to the speakers and the organizing team for a great job!
From the Open Doors Med Sharing Economy project we are happy for attending this event, and hope to see the colleagues and friends from the Interreg Med Programme soon again! 😉
